A Note From the Editor

Happy Mother's Day!!  I hope you all enjoyed your special day!  I know that I sure did!

Well, we are just one week away from the biggest event of the Spring in League City - our Macaroni Kid Birthday Bash!!  I can not believe I have been publishing Macaroni Kid for TWO YEARS!  Who's joining us at the Perry YMCA on May 20th from 2-6pm???  The Laughing Pizza concert starts at 3:00pm, and doors open at 2:00pm, we suggest getting there early!  I have created a Facebook event so that we can start to plan for the crowd, if you are planning to come, please be sure to RSVP!   https://www.facebook.com/events/417702544906913/ .  Also please note that one of the main reasons we are having the event is to raise money for Cookies for Kids' Cancer - if you are unable to attend and would still like to donate, please click on this link!  AND if you are interested in baking some cookies or donating some of your time, please email me at lindsayf@macaronikid.com!  Be sure to bring a little money for the Bake Sale, Raffle, and Vendors!

Happy Mother's Day!

Today is Mother's Day and all over this country, Mom's everywhere are being celebrated. Being a Mother is the hardest yet most fulfilling job that I have even had. It is tough and some days I admit to wanting to quit  but than I look at my children and realize that how awesome they are and I can not wait to see what they become as the grow up.

Being a Mother is something I honestly wasn't sure that I wanted to be and than I meet ...

Perry YMCA is so excited to announce that their pool will be opening for the season on May 19th!

Swim Lessons for ages 6 months to Adult will begin May 21st.  Their will be two weeks sessions running from May 21st to August 23rd.  The Perry Y offers a wide range of swimming options for the whole family.  Swimming builds self-confidence and develops the whole person.  Classes are divided into ability groups and trained instructors ...

Pump up the jam as summer approaches and the heat rises at the Kemah Boardwalk with the fourteenth annual Rock the Dock summer-long concert series.
